.. and because one can never have enough wreaths in this blog, here's another one! :)
On a serious note, i love getting creative all year round but it's christmas that i get excited most about. There is a whole month of opportunities to get those creative juices flowing. If i had all the time and daylight allowance, i could certainly do and share more inspiration and ideas. But alas, i'm a busy working mum... gone were the days when i lovingly made pistachio covered chocolate truffles as christmas treats for family and friends or baked chocolate and cinnamon cookies for my work colleagues. As much as i have all the greatest intentions in the world, limited time these days doesn't allow me much. I have been trying to attempt to make ginger bread cookies with Hayden for a couple of months now... we might wait for Valentines day at this rate.
On odd occasions however, like the weekends, whilst Hayden plays or naps, i get to make pretty things. Yes, i am one of those people who never sit still and finds making things like wreaths or moving furnitures around the house, quite therapeutic. Usually, my coffee breaks would involve me forgetting where i have placed my cup last and finally drinking it cold. Ha ha!
