Happy St Patrick's Day, everyone!
Today, we are celebrating with Nespresso. And what better way than an Irish Coffee? You know how much i love my coffee and if you do too, you will love this little treat.
Here's how to make it.
Nespresso Irish Coffee
1 Fortissio Lungo Grand Cru capsule
1 tsp brown sugar
50ml Irish whisky
50ml cold double or whipping cream
1 View Lungo cup (150ml)
Whip the cream until the bubbles disappear and it has just started to thicken. Place in the fridge.
Preheat the cup by filling it with fresh boiled water and leave to stand for 2 minutes. Dry with a tea towel.
Pour the Irish whisky into the preheated cup and stir in the brown sugar.
Place the cup on the nozzle of your Nespresso machine, insert the capsule and press the lungo button.
Press stop once it reaches 3cm before the top of your cup to make room for the cream.
Stir well. Once the liquid stops spinning, pour the cream on to the coffee using the back of a spoon.
